The Ultimate Cup is back. A youth soccer tournament created by the merger of the Chesterfield United Icebreaker and the Kickers Invitational in 2012, The Ultimate Cup tournament will again features a Girls and Boys weekend, scheduled for February 23-24, 2013 and March 2-3, 2013.
 Matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday for those weekends except as noted below.
New this year is the addition of the Atlantic Soccer League matches that will be played during the boys weekend, March 1, 2 & 3rd, 2013. The ASL groupings are U14 & U15 Boys and Girls. The ASL U15 teams will play one game on Friday, one game Saturday, and one game Sunday. All ASL teams can register through the boys weekend registration link on the Boys Weekend tab above.
With divisions for all levels of play from Classic to Elite, the Ultimate Cup will host games Saturday through Sunday and features top-class facilities with access to some of the nation’s best natural grass playing surfaces as well as numerous synthetic turf fields. In each division, teams will compete for the prestigious Ultimate Cup, with finalists also being honored with a mini replica trophy. The joint venture between Chesterfield United and Richmond Kickers will provide an extensive economic boost to the region, with 100% participation from Chesterfield County clubs, teams and players. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to be scouted by collegiate coaches from throughout the east coast Each tournament weekend will include excellent exhibition games featuring the nationally renowned Richmond Kickers professional soccer team.   |
